Privacy notice
Last updated 2026-10-16. Draft: to be reviewed before launch.
This notice explains what personal data ClipKit Lab collects, why, and your rights under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018). We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
ClipKit Lab is a small UK digital products business selling AI video prompt packs and templates. We are the controller of the data described here. Contact: the shared inbox listed on this page once it's set up.
What we collect and why
- Your email address, when you get a free or paid pack or join the newsletter. We use it to send your files, product updates and the newsletter. Lawful basis: contract (for purchases) and consent (for the newsletter).
- Purchase details, handled by Gumroad, which processes payments and VAT. We see your name, email, what you bought and your country. We never see your card details.
- Sponsor enquiries: the details you put in the enquiry form, used only to reply. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
- Basic site statistics: if we add analytics, we'll use a privacy-friendly, cookie-free tool and update this notice first.
Cookies
This site doesn't set any cookies of its own. Gumroad sets its own cookies when you visit its checkout.
Who we share it with
Only the services that help us run the shop: Gumroad (store and payments), our email newsletter provider, and our web host. We don't sell your data.
How long we keep it
Newsletter data until you unsubscribe. Purchase records for as long as tax law requires (usually 6 years). Enquiries for up to 2 years.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or move your data, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
